Galileo Opportunities for High School Students

Galileo offers a paid summer internship program for high school students who will be 16 or older by the time camp begins. If you are interested in being a camp counselor, this is an opportunity you don't want to miss!

At Camp Galileo we have two kinds of Summer Interns: Kindergarten Assistants and Camp Assistants.

SUMMER INTERN—KINDERGARTEN ASSISTANT
Works with a group of up to 18 entering Kindergartners and assist the Team Leader and Lead Instructors daily with their activities.

SUMMER INTERN—CAMP ASSISTANT
Supports the overall program and helping the Camp Director and staff where needed, including office support, assisting with classroom activities, set up for all-camp games and ceremonies.

SUMMER INTERN—GALILEO SUMMER QUEST
Assists the Camp Director and staff in classroom and camp activities, help with administrative duties and with Majors, Minors and Crews.

SUMMER INTERN—THE TECH MUSEUM SUMMER CAMPS
Assist the Instructor team with set up, instruction and clean up in labs, and guide and motivate kids through hands-on science and technology projects.
