Waitlist FAQ
Answers to Frequently Asked Questions regarding our waitlist policy.
| Q. |
What is a waitlist? |
| A. |
When a camp session fills, we keep a list of campers interested in attending if a space becomes available. |
| Q. |
How do I register for a waitlist? |
| A. |
You can put your child on a waitlist using our online registration system. When a session fills, you will automatically see the waitlist as an option to enroll in online. You may also call the Galileo Home Office to register by phone. Each waitlist registration is time-stamped, so that we can contact families in order of waitlist enrollment. |
| Q. |
How will I know if I get into the session? |
| A. |
When space opens in a waitlisted session, the first family on the waitlist will receive an e-mail to let them know that space is available. The family will then have 72 hours to enroll and pay for the session before we contact the next family on the waitlist. Enrollment can be completed by
logging in to your account and paying for the waitlisted session, or by calling us at (800) 854-3684, Monday-Friday from 8am-6pm. |
| Q. |
When will I know if I get into a session? |
| A. |
Unfortunately, it's very hard to predict when space will open. We contact the first family on the waitlist as soon as we know a space is available. |
| Q. |
Do I have to enroll if space becomes available? |
| A. |
No, there is no obligation to enroll if you are on a waitlist. If you are unable to register for an available space, we will offer it to the next family on the waitlist.
|
| Q. |
How much does it cost to be on a waitlist? |
| A. |
There is no cost to register for a waitlist, and there is also no obligation to enroll if a space does become available. |
